About me

I'm Oliver Foggin, an iOS developer for the past 15 years. I'm writing about Swift, app architecture, and the practical side of building software.

Most of the posts here come from problems I have run into while building apps, reviewing architectures, or helping teams make codebases easier to reason about. I tend to write about things like SwiftUI, The Composable Architecture, dependency management, navigation, and the tradeoffs behind common design patterns.

I care about code that is understandable, testable, and shaped by the problem it is solving rather than by a pattern chosen up front.
